New Business Developer – Consultancy Services

This is an exciting and innovative role for a new business specialist responsible for generating opportunities for a B2B consulting service. The role involves identifying and qualifying potential clients, nurturing leads, and scheduling meetings for the client’s sales team. Role responsibilities
1. Outbound Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients through channels such as LinkedIn, industry databases, and online sources.
2. Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on predefined criteria, assessing their needs and fit for our consulting services.
3. Cold Calling & Emailing: Craft personalized outreach messages (emails, LinkedIn messages, calls) to engage prospects and generate interest.
4. Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives with decision-makers at target companies.
5. Lead Nurturing: Develop and execute campaigns to cultivate relationships and progress prospects through the sales funnel.
Data and Reporting
1. CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all activities.
2. Collaboration: Work closely with management, marketing, and other teams to ensure an efficient sales process.
3. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify new opportunities.
4. Pipeline Management: Manage leads and track progress toward monthly and quarterly targets.
5. Data Management: Maintain sales records and develop reports/dashboards.
Skills Required
* Preferably at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within professional services or M&A sector.
* Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
* Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to build rapport and establish relationships with potential clients.
* Track record of increasing sales.
* Strong research and analytical skills.
* Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
