About The Role
Support Worker - Ty George, Bridgend - Full Time - Hourly Rate from £12.60 to £12.80 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)

A day in the life of a Support Worker at Priority Childcare includes:
* Providing high quality care to the children and young people we support.
* Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
* Being a positive role model.
* Promoting independence by supporting a range of social, school and work-based activities.
* Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs.
* Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise.
* General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
You’ll need:
* A can-do attitude, resilient nature.
* Previous care experience preferred but not essential.
* To hold a current valid driver’s license - please note the service is location in a remote location and there is no public transport near the service. It would require driving down some very narrow country lanes to get to the service.
* Compassion and empathy.
* Good communication.
* The ability to work flexibly.
* To be reliable.
Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with children and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
