Due to the ongoing development of the role and service requirements, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional Specialist Nurse for Adult Support and Protection to work alongside the current Adult Support and Protection Specialist Nurse within Aberdeenshire HSCP.
We are seeking a motivated registered nurse with a genuine interest in Adult Support and Protection, as well as all areas of Public Protection.
The post covers the Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership area. The successful applicant will enhance the capacity to deliver the required service moving forward. The role involves providing cover Monday to Friday, supporting the work of NHSG Public Protection Team and AHSCP Adult Protection Network. Additionally, the post holder will play a key role in raising the profile and leading the ASP agenda across health services in Aberdeenshire, as well as supporting and developing multi-agency working.
The candidate should have in-depth knowledge and experience of policy and legislation underpinning contemporary adult protection practice, with recent application to practice.
Essential Criteria:
* Registered Nurse or Midwife, with a first-level degree or relevant qualifications.
* Five years post-qualifying experience.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
