Your Role:
As a CNC Machinist on the night shift, you'll play a key part in delivering high-precision parts to exacting standards. Your responsibilities will include:
* Setting and operating CNC machines to produce precision components
* Conducting detailed quality inspections using advanced measurement tools
* Working to tight tolerances (within +/- 5 microns)
* Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety protocols
* Supporting team productivity and process improvements
* Engaging in continuous training and skills enhancement
Who We're Looking For:
Essential Skills:
* Strong understanding of machine tools and metric measurements
* High attention to detail and strong near vision
* Ability to work with fine tolerances and complex specifications
* A reliable team player with solid communication skills
Desirable (but not essential):
* Prior experience in CNC or machining roles
* Willingness to learn - full training is provided
Technology You'll Use:
* Advanced CNC machinery
* High-precision metrology and measuring tools
Shift Pattern:
This is a night shift role with a rotating 6-6 pattern:
* Week 1: Five 12-hour night shifts
* Week 2: Two 12-hour night shifts
This schedule provides extended blocks of time off across the fortnight, supporting better work-life balance.
