Hourly rate: £18.79 per hour plus holiday entitlement.

Role Summary
If you are enthusiastic about supporting research partnerships and have the skills to contribute to a high‑profile evaluation project, we would like to hear from you. This role provides an opportunity to make a positive impact through robust data analysis and evaluation support.
Main Duties
* Assist in the collation, organisation, and management of quantitative and qualitative data collected during the exercise.
* Support data entry, validation, and cleaning to ensure accuracy and integrity of evaluation datasets.
* Work with the evaluation team to analyse data, identifying key trends, themes, and insights that inform the exercise’s findings and recommendations.
* Participate in team meetings, contributing to discussions on data interpretation and the development of recommendations.
Person Specification
* Experience with data processing and analysis in an evaluation, research, or project management context.
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing large volumes of data.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or other data analysis tools.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team and independently when required.
* Understanding of confidentiality and ethical considerations in handling sensitive information.
* Interviews will be held by videoconference.

Eligibility: You must be a current University of Birmingham student. Non‑students will not be considered.
Work restrictions: The University restricts all students to working up to 20 hours per week during term time. If your course follows an unusual timetable, you and your supervisor must formally agree on vacation periods if this role exceeds 20 hours per week. International students must apply to the Registry for the appropriate Authorised Absence.
