An exciting opportunity has become available at NRG Riverside within our Colchester depot and we are looking for an experienced LCV Technician to join the team and help us on our journey to growth. In this role, you will be responsible for the service and repair of a wide variety of vehicles. Specialist training will be provided where needed, to develop your existing skills to support our specialist assets. Who will you be working for?

Established in 1996, we've supported our valued customers to rationalise and decarbonise their fleets, save money and improve efficiency by reducing 'Vehicle Off Road' (VOR) time.
What candidate are we looking for?
Experience from within a LCV Technician/ LCV Engineer/ LCV Mechanic (essential)
LCV Technical qualification - NVQ or City and Guilds equivalent. This is preferred but time-served experience will also be considered.
Previous municipal experience advantageous.
An MOT tester for Class 4 and 7 (advantageous)
Previous experience working with auxiliary equipment advantageous
Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics would be advantageous
Class 1 or Class 2 licence preferred
Excellent customer service and a great team player whilst also able to work on own initiative
What will be your duties?
As the LCV Technician you will undertake routine inspection & repair of internal & external customers vehicles within the NRG workshop estate
Working on cars and LCVs
Repairs and wheel alignment
Complete all compliance paperwork associated with the repair and maintenance of the rental fleet
