This is an opportunity for you to join an academy which caters to 5 -19-year-olds, who all have Special Educational Needs including Learning Difficulties, Autism and Speech, Language and Communication needs. Our partner school has a warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere built on mutual respect which they pride themselves on.
You will be expected to support pupils under the direction of the Teacher and this may involve 1:1, small group or whole class support. Experience of working as a teaching assistant or within a Special School is not a pre-requisite for this position,but would be advantageous. An interest and enthusiasm for developing within this exciting, challenging and rewarding area of education is key.
