About Us
CRMCrew is a fast-growing, owner-led consultancy that specialises in system design, automation, and workflow optimisation for businesses.
Over the past years, we’ve helped companies streamline operations, improve visibility, and increase profitability through intelligent system architecture and CRM implementation.
Building on that success, we’re now focusing our efforts into the commercial construction sector, helping general contractors identify and fix the operational inefficiencies that drain profit. From missed change orders to poor project tracking, helping construction businesses take control of their data, processes, and margins.
We’re now hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join the team and take charge of outbound outreach to senior construction decision-makers. This is a manual, relationship-based prospecting role, no spam, no high-volume automation. Every outreach is targeted, researched, and intentional.
The Role
You will be responsible for initiating first contact with potential clients, building rapport, qualifying prospects through structured discovery questions, and scheduling them for a sales or discovery call with the Managing Director.
This is a results-driven position that rewards consistency, accuracy, and resilience.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Making a minimum of 100 manual touchpoints per day across phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach.
* Engaging directly with senior construction professionals (Owners, VPs, and Project Managers).
* Running structured triage calls using curated scripts and qualifying questions.
* Assessing prospects against set qualification criteria before handover to the sales team.
* Accurately logging call outcomes, qualification details, and next steps within Salesforce CRM.
* Scheduling qualified prospects using Calendly and maintaining full meeting records.
* Contributing feedback on outreach messaging and helping refine call scripts and workflows.
* Collaborating directly with the Managing Director to continuously improve targeting and results.
What Success Looks Like
You’ll be measured on clear, outcome-based metrics:
* Daily touchpoints: Minimum 100 per day (phone, email, LinkedIn combined).
* Meetings booked: Number of qualified appointments per week.
* Show rate: Percentage of scheduled meetings that attend.
* Conversion rate: Ratio of triage calls converted to sales-qualified opportunities.\
All activity will be tracked in Salesforce and visible via a personal performance dashboard.
What You’ll Have
* Proven phone-based BDR experience: You know how to handle gatekeepers, objections, and turn cold calls into real conversations.
* Industry familiarity: Experience selling into construction, engineering, or B2B professional services. You understand how projects and decision-making chains work.
* Strong communication and confidence: You can take a call framework and make it your own, not a script reader, but a listener and problem solver.
* CRM discipline: You keep notes clean, accurate, and detailed.
* Resilience and focus: You can handle rejection, follow up with persistence, and stay consistent.
You’ll Be Supported With
* A dedicated data and enrichment team providing fully qualified contact lists and research.
* A curated call script and qualifying framework to guide your triage conversations.
* Access to Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Calendly, and leading outreach tools.
* Direct 1-to-1 coaching from the Managing Director to refine messaging, cadence, and delivery.
Compensation
* Base Salary: £38,000.00
* Commission: On-target earnings of £21,000.00 (total OTE £59,000.00)
* Commission based on qualified meetings booked, attendance rates, and sales outcomes.
