Sales & Revenue Manager - 3* Hotel Location: Solihull Salary: £34,000 - £37,000 + Bonus Hours: Permanent 40hr Contract The Role You will be responsible for maximising room revenue and driving event sales from enquiry through to confirmation. Your decisions will directly impact occupancy, average room rate and overall profitability.

Key Responsibilities Set room pricing and manage availability to achieve revenue targets
Monitor booking pace and adjust pricing based on demand
Use strategies such as minimum length of stay restrictions and closed to arrival/departure dates when required
Manage performance across online travel agents such as Booking.com, Expedia and Agoda ensuring rates are correct, competitive and consistent
Maintain rate parity (making sure prices are aligned across all platforms)
Analyse competitor pricing and market demand to grow average room rate and overall revenue per available room
Build strong relationships with online travel agent account managers to improve visibility and promotional activity
Manage conference and events sales from initial enquiry to proposal, negotiation and confirmation
Track your event pipeline and ensure smooth handover to the operations team
Produce clear weekly and monthly revenue reports with actionable insights
Work closely with marketing, reservations and food & beverage teams
About You You will be analytical, organised and commercially confident, with experience in both revenue management and events sales.
Essential Experience Experience managing online travel agents, including promotional tools and content optimisation
Strong understanding of pricing strategy and yield management
Experience using hotel systems such as:
Revenue Management Systems (software that helps forecast demand and optimise pricing)
Property Management Systems (hotel booking systems such as OPERA, Mews or Guestline)
Channel managers (systems that distribute rates to online travel agents such as SiteMinder or D-EDGE)
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
Experience handling event enquiries through to confirmed bookings
Clear and confident communication skills
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Desirable Experience
Experience with hotel advertising platforms such as Google Hotel Ads, Trivago or Tripadvisor
Exposure to corporate booking systems such as Amadeus, Sabre or Travelport
Experience working with food & beverage teams to build event packages and menus
