Dental Business/Practice Manager (Part-Time)

Salary: £33,000–£37,000 per annum (pro rata, depending on experience)
About the Clinic
Al-Faperio Clinic is a specialist Laser Periodontal and Implant clinic located in Buckhurst Hill, Essex. Our 2-surgery practice is focused on delivering high-quality specialist care in a modern, patient-centred environment.
As the clinic continues to grow, we are looking to appoint an experienced Dental Business/Practice Manager to oversee operations, support the team, and help drive the ongoing development of the practice.
The Role
Working closely with the Principal Dentist, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operational and business management of the clinic, ensuring efficient workflows, regulatory compliance, excellent patient care, and strong business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Practice & Team Management
• Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient running of the clinic
• Manage staff rotas, recruitment and team development
• Act as the main point of contact for staff and patients
Compliance & Governance
• Maintain CQC compliance and inspection readiness
• Oversee policies, audits and regulatory requirements, including infection control, safeguarding, GDPR, COSHH and Health & Safety
Business & Financial Performance
• Monitor KPIs, chair utilisation and diary management
• Support budgeting, cost control and supplier management
• Assist with marketing initiatives, patient retention and online presence
Patient Experience
• Ensure a consistently high standard of patient care and service
• Manage patient feedback and queries professionally
About You
Essential
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within a dental practice environment
• Previous practice management or senior supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of CQC compliance and dental regulations
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
Desirable
• Background in dental nursing, reception or practice management
• Experience with dental software and diary optimisation
• Interest in practice growth and business development
What We Offer
• £33,000-£37,000 salary (pro rata, DOE)
