Part – Time, Fixed term contract.
Pavilion Publishing and Media

Fixed term 1 year contract

Are you an organised, proactive, and detail-driven professional with a passion for publishing?
Do you love seeing a book come to life — from that first spark of an idea through to holding the finished copy in your hands?
At Pavilion Publishing and Media, we're looking for a
Book Publishing Coordinator
to make that journey happen.
You'll be the person who brings it all together: authors, editors, designers, marketers, and supply partners — keeping projects on track, solving problems, and making sure everything runs smoothly. Every book you help deliver has the potential to make a real difference in people's lives, particularly in the fields of mental health, social care, and education.
What you'll be doing
* Guiding new titles and new editions from contract to publication (and beyond)
* Creating and managing schedules that keep projects flowing
* Building strong, supportive relationships with authors and colleagues
* Spotting what's needed and making it happen — whether that's permissions, agreements, or last-minute fixes
* Keeping everyone in the loop with clear, timely updates
What makes you a great fit
* Highly organised and love managing projects big and small
* Able to balance multiple deadlines without breaking a sweat
* Positive, flexible, and ready to solve problems creatively
* A natural communicator and team player who brings people together
* Sharp eye for detail and high standards for your work
* Comfortable with IT (especially Microsoft Office)
Bonus points if you have:
* Publishing experience (editorial or production)
* A background or interest in psychology, mental health, or neurodiversity
* A degree (or equivalent experience)
Why you'll love working with us
At Pavilion, we don't just publish books — we publish resources that help people learn, grow, and support one another. You'll be joining a friendly, passionate team where your ideas are valued and your work makes a difference. We offer flexibility (mainly remote working, with full remote considered), a supportive culture, and the satisfaction of seeing the books you've nurtured go out into the world.
