A well-established international bank providing retail and corporate banking services is looking for a Retail Administration Clerk to join for a 12 month fixed term contract
Key Responsibilities
* Open, maintain, and close customer accounts, ensuring all documentation and authorisations are completed accurately.
* Maintain customer records, mandates, signatures, and account information within banking systems.
* Administer Internet and Mobile Banking services, including customer support and access management.
* Process cheque books, stopped cheques, cheque clearing, Direct Debits, Standing Orders, and Visa card administration.
* Process deposit transactions, customer instructions, and related accounting entries.
* Perform daily reconciliations of accounts, transactions, and operational records.
* Support fraud investigations and maintain FATCA, PCI DSS, and FSCS-related records.
* Respond to customer, Relationship Manager, and internal stakeholder enquiries.
* Provide cashiering support when required.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory, AML, risk, and internal control requirements.
Skills & Experience
* Experience of working in a retail banking environment is essential
* Strong communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good numeracy and literacy skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team.
