Youth Justice Officer needed in Peterborough Paying £170.20 per day ref 1683589 Full time hours on a temporary basis Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of young people subject to Out‑of‑Court Disposals, community orders, pre‑sentence reports, or bail/remand support. Complete high‑quality assessments, intervention plans, and risk/safeguarding assessments. Deliver evidence‑based interventions aimed at reducing reoffending and improving life chances. Work closely with families, schools, social care, police, courts, and partner agencies. Prepare and present reports to courts and professional meetings. Promote engagement, attendance, and positive behaviour among young people. Ensure all work complies with statutory guidance, national standards, and local policies.
