The focus of the role:
Working with the Marketing Manager (MM) or Product Marketing Manager (PMM), you will be responsible for executing and analysing high-impact high-performing marketing plans for a portfolio of media brands with a particular focus on driving distribution revenues across subscriptions and newstrade. In addition, you'll support the creation and delivery of brand awareness and lead generation campaigns and other activities as necessary. You'll help ensure all marketing activities are on-brand, delivered to an impeccable standard. You will be customer obsessed and be committed to development of self.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Multi-channel marketing implementation – with a focus on subscriptions.
2. Becoming an expert in campaign management and developing expertise in all marcoms channels including print, digital, CRM, social etc
3. Managing the house ad schedule ensuring creatives are available for appropriate teams in advance of required dates. Proactively updating house ads & subs ads to ensure latest and best offers are promoted and striving for continuous improvement in marcoms
4. Support the email marketing activity by briefing and checking email proofs for typos, broken links and missing images
5. Assisting MM/PMM with delivery of activity for in-life engagement plans
6. Adopting a test-and-learn mentality to continuously drive implementation of marketing tactics forward and proactively make suggestions and recommendations to MM as appropriate
7. Build effective relationships with editorial teams and start to develop relationship with Circulation & Trade Marketing Managers and Executives
8. Assisting MM/PMM with preparing basic reporting in advance of Planning meetings and starting to make suggestions for commentary, showing an understanding of the impact on results
9. Reporting of success of individual campaigns/pieces of activity/channels. organic social and proactively making recommendations for improvements and further areas/channels for testing
10. No formal leadership responsibilities but consistently leading by example and willing to buddy new starters
