About The Role
As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the Butlins food propositions.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to recipes and brand standards.
* Oversee and manage small teams of commis chefs, ensuring food safety policies are followed.
* Participate in the award-winning Butlins Chef Academy to develop your skills.
* Deputise for the sous chef in their absence, manage daily operations in your section, and ensure efficiency and compliance.
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Lead, train, and mentor Commis Chefs, demonstrating leadership and support.
* Prepare and cook dishes as per recipes, complete daily food diaries, and support budget control.
Candidate Profile
* Experience in a similar role preferred.
* Level 3 Food Safety qualification required.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, reliable, and team-oriented.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage margins, and ensure health and safety standards.
Details
* Full-time, permanent role, 35 hours/week, 5 days over 7, including weekends and late finishes.
* Shifts between 7am and 12 midnight.
* On Resort accommodation available for relocators.
