Company Secretary
Stand-alone role in Financial Services
London based hybrid working
Reporting to the Director of Finance
SSQ is partnering with a global asset manager to recruit its first company secretary. This position will work closely with all business units, but most notably Legal and Finance. It will encompass all areas of Company Secretarial and governance, including filings, meeting management, project and policy governance, and assistance with complex transactions and the statutory requirements and regulations.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Management of the day-to-day corporate secretarial matters including:
2. Schedule, attend and follow up on board and committee meetings, including drafting the board agenda and circulating papers.
3. To identify areas of improvement required and propose and implement updated governance structures and policy frameworks in line with industry standards
4. Responsible for compliance of all governance policies and assist with horizon scanning
5. draft legal documentation related to any and all company boards
6. Management of the statutory registers, KYC compliance, and board resolutions, including management of all Company's House and statutory reporting
