Description of Role / Purpose. To act as the Unit Movements JNCO for RMR Bristol. The Movements JNCO is a Royal Marines Reserve FTRS (FC) position. As such, his roles do not reflect those of a typical Movements JNCO and are nuanced to reflect the Unit’s current need in terms of MT logistical output, Dangerous Goods and IOSH management. The core and additional responsibilities outlined below are to be reviewed bi-annually, namely alongside the incumbent’s MPAR and SJAR. Core Responsibilities. Below are outlined all core responsibilities of the Movements JNCO: Assist and advise the Chief of Staff on all MT matters in the absence of the MT SNCO. Be responsible to the MT SNCO for the auditable actions of all MT documentation. Be fully conversant and adhere to Unit Motor Transport Standing Orders (MTSOs). Conduct driver awareness training and record competencies IAW current legislation. Monitor the location and usage of all MT vehicles for use IAW MT Standing Orders. Assist the MT SNCO in the planning and co-ordination of transport requests received by the MT department. Book, in line with all policy and legislation, all Unit vehicles, hire vehicles, rail tickets, flights and accommodation through the current MOD Management booking systems. Assist the MT SNCO in the maintenance of all MT auditable documentation. Act as the MT Driver as required by the MT SNCO. This is to include training weekends and OTX activity. Maintain the Units MyDrive system. Additional Responsibilities. Below all additional responsibilities of the Movements JNCO are outlined: Form part of the Duty plot IAW Unit Standing Orders, remaining no more than 20 mins from DH during the Tour of Duty iot react to any intruder alarms. Manage the Dangerous Goods certification and auditory paperwork on behalf of the RQMS and MT SNCO. Authority DIRLAUTH with NCHQ MT SO2, RMR MT JNCOs, RMR MTSNCOs, RMR ULOs and 3CdoX HQ MT staff as required. DIRLAUTH to liaise directly with the NRC MT staff as required within the scope of the unit’s transport management. Line Management.
