As a Kitchen Assistant, you will help prepare and serve nutritious meals, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene. Your responsibilities include managing food supplies, training new staff, and ensuring a clean environment, always prioritizing Resident wellbeing.
We seek candidates with some kitchen experience, ideally with an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation, or willingness to obtain one. Strong organisational skills, good record keeping, and the ability to follow recipes are essential. You should communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues.
