Senior National Account Manager
£75,000–£85,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
Wiltshire
Are you an experienced National Account Manager ready to step into a high-impact SNAM role managing some of the UK’s most strategically important grocery retail accounts?
This is a rare opportunity to join a vertically integrated, fast-growing food manufacturer supplying both retail and major foodservice brands. The business has invested heavily in modernising operations, has a strong leadership team, and offers a genuinely supportive, down-to-earth culture.
The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of major retail relationships, including the company’s largest grocery customer and additional high-growth ecommerce and top-4 accounts. With a mix of own label and branded responsibility, you’ll be instrumental in shaping long-term customer strategy, delivering JBP plans, and driving profitable growth across a sizeable P&L.
You’ll also lead and develop a National Account Executive, acting as a key senior figure within the commercial team.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead strategic relationships with major UK grocery multiples.
* Own full P&L responsibility across a significant retail portfolio.
* Deliver long-term growth plans across own label and branded ranges.
* Strengthen and modernise customer relationships, particularly within top-4 retail.
* Lead commercial negotiations, JBPs, forecasting and promotional planning.
* Drive visibility, execution and category performance in partnership with retailers.
* Launch new and seasonal products into customer accounts.
* Coach and develop a National Account Executive.
What We’re Looking For
* Major UK retailer account management at NAM/SNAM level.
* Strong commercial delivery with top-4 grocery customers.
* Own label + branded experience within FMCG/food manufacturing.
* Confidence managing high NSV accounts and complex supply chains.
* A grounded, pragmatic, relationship-led operator.
This role suits someone who thrives in a business that blends heritage with modern manufacturing, and who enjoys real autonomy.
