Survival Equipment Admin Support Location: Life Raft RAF Brize Norton – OX18 3LX Schedule: Perm/FT/37 hours - 08:00 - 17:00 Mon - Thu and Fri 0800 -14:00 Salary: £27,250 plus excellent benefits Ready to impact a better future? At RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire, Serco has been providing multi-activity and engineering support since 1997. Serco proudly support the RAF and MoD, supplying around 20 different services onsite, from engine and aircraft maintenance, to fuelling and ground control services. RAF Brize Norton is the largest operating base within the Royal Air force, providing air transport and air-to-air refuelling to the RAF fleet. What you’ll do as a Survival Equipment Admin Support We’re currently recruiting for a Survival Equipment Admin Support to assist the Survival Equipment Team on site. Working within the Royal Air Force, you will work in a blended environment with the Royal Air Force colleagues and SERCO Team members, delivering services in the following areas: Receptionist Front of House Duties. Taking and arranging appointments for RAF Flight Crew Flying Clothing and equipment maintenance, issue and replacement. General office administration. Filing, photocopying, database updates and record keeping. Team Sharepoint Site Updates and Management. Production of Team Meeting Minutes and Records. Booking staff training courses. Allocating/co-ordinating RAF staff routine duties. Running, controlling replenishing the stationery store. KPI Recording. Collating Survival Equipment Team general performance and manning performance data. Facilities Management. Co-ordinating building repairs and maintenance requests. Does this sound like you? Be an excellent written and verbal communicator. Excellent Time Management and organisational skills Superb Customer Service Skills Competency and proficiency in all Microsoft Office 365 applications including SharePoint. Be SC cleared or have no issues obtaining one. This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. In addition, depending on the nature of the role, you may need to obtain formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. Please note that UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
