We are working with a well-regarded and forward-thinking secondary school in Enfield that is seeking a talented and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their dedicated team on a supply basis.
The school offers a supportive environment with a strong focus on high-quality teaching, collaborative planning, and strong student outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Delivering high-quality History lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
2. Developing and implementing engaging and challenging schemes of work
3. Assessing and monitoring student progress
4. Providing constructive feedback to support pupil achievement
5. Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective curriculum
6. Organising and supporting extracurricular History activities and events
You’ll need:
7. A degree in History or a related subject
8. Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4
9. Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. The ability to work collaboratively within a team
12. A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
