Recruit4Staff are proud to represent their client, an internationally renowned construction & civil engineering company in their search for a Surveyor to work on their newly awarded contract in the Penrhyndeudraeth area
For the successful Surveyor our client is offering:
Day rate of circa £450 (Negotiable depending on experience and skillset)
Days role
Temporary contract (12 months)
Based on-site full-time
Start ASAP
The Role - Surveyor:
Provide regular surveying and monitoring of completed and ongoing works, ensuring full documentation and compliance.
Deliver accurate setting out data and site control points to the construction team.
Carry out as-built and deformation monitoring surveys to track movement or changes in critical structures.
Collaborate with Site Engineers to ensure correct data collection and reporting protocols are followed.
Upload/download setting out data to/from instruments and ensure records are updated accurately.
Produce survey reports, calculations, and documentation for submission to the project management team.
Identify and escalate any anomalies or risks discovered through monitoring works.
Maintain compliance with HSE and QA standards, and support audits and inspections as required.
What our client is looking for in a Surveyor:
Civil Engineering Degree or similar - ESSENTIAL
Advanced geodetic surveying and deformation monitoring skills - ESSENTIAL
Clear understanding of the requirements of setting out - ESSENTIAL
Good knowledge of legislation, hazards and safe systems of work - ESSENTIAL
Must be happy to be based on site full-time
