POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Execute daily duties, internal and external stakeholder interactions inline with the SPIRIT Values.
2. Adhere and embrace the four business culture values
3. To learn all technical aspects of the markets and products that are necessary to be successful in the growth of the business.
4. Identify product and market synergies for new business development
5. Create a sales target strategy within the agreed upon timescale
6. Be able to work independently on target acquisition and completion
7. Develop operational and time management plans on a 12-month, on-going cycle. Work autonomously to create an efficient sales plan to deliver the agreed upon sales and functional results
8. Represent RWC on any applicable trade bodies
9. Ensure knowledge of the market and technology advancements is always up to date
10. Work with customers to develop NPD/NPI that will both deliver expected results and pass financial scrutiny
11. Facilitate engagement with all key customer stakeholders and RWC, both technically and commercially
12. Ensure strong productive relationships are developed and maintained with all key accounts at every level, including director level.
13. Ensure strong relationships are developed and maintained with all indirect stakeholders
14. Be prepared to hand over accounts once they are at an agreed upon level to the relevant sector manager
15. Develop a strong value proposition and be prepared to present to new customers
16. Strong presentation skills are required to present strategies and results to all senior internal stakeholders with confidence
17. Work closely with commercial colleagues within distribution customers
18. Look to adopt a creative, innovative ‘Can do’ approach to customer and share acquisition
19. Execute journey planning with efficiency in both time and cost as a priority
20. Achieve and exceed budgeted sales figures
21. Keep up to date with all activity, account and contact data.
22. Actively manage opportunity pipeline ensuring new opportunities are progressed to fruition efficiently
23. Ensure all personal KPI’s are achieved and any development required to support these is requested
24. Actively engage with peer to peer coaching within the team and take a leadership position when needed
25. Work with and encourage professional growth in peers and junior colleagues
26. To complete all monthly reporting in a timely and complete manner
27. To keep the business up to date with any market developments via the most appropriate method
28. Support the UK Fluidtech team in any wider team & customer initiatives as necessary
29. Use all IT and software provided to ensure the most efficient work practices.
30. Be prepared to identify and communicate process changes which may benefit the team and/or organisation
31. Comply with all current work instructions within the organisation.
32. Comply fully with all current health, safety & environmental regulations in operation within the company whilst carrying out your duties.
33. Carry out any reasonable task which falls within your capabilities
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERTISE
34. Strong working knowledge of the OEM market in the UK
35. Experience of working with valves, fittings or pipe is highly desirable
36. Knowledge of one or more of the following sectors would be advantageous:
- Agriculture, modular building, leisure vehicles, water processing, automation
37. Strong demonstrable experience of new business development and a good knowledge of the sales cycle
38. Must be able to take ownership and work autonomously where required
