Lecturer (ED12800) - Bath, BA2 7AYThe Department of Politics, Languages and International Studies (PoLIS) is seeking to appoint a full-time Lecturer in French language. About the roleThe post holder will contribute to the design and teaching of French language across all levels on our programmes. This is a full-time, open-ended position. The Department of Politics, Languages and International Studies is a friendly and vibrant Department of some 80 members of academic staff, with undergraduate courses in Modern Languages (French, German, Italian, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish), International Management and Modern Languages (French/German/Spanish), and International Politics and Modern Languages (French, German, Italian, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish), and postgraduate courses in languages and in politics including the flag-bearing Masters in Interpretation and Translation, Translation and Professional Language Skills, and Translation and Business Interpreting.The post holder will be expected to participate fully in the life of the Department, including engaging in personal tutoring and recruitment activities.
