Teaching Personnel are the exclusive partner of a Secondary Academy in Milton Keynes to recruit a Qualified English Teacher from September 2025.
We have 2 x opportunities on offer, a permanent position and a contract position for the Autumn Term only.

Are you a skilled, ambitious Teacher of English? This is an exciting opportunity for a English Teacher to make a difference to an evolving school. We are open to applications from Qualified English Teachers or experienced Further Education Teachers seeking their next permanent role.
Job Duties:
* Plan and deliver engaging and informative English Literature and English Languages lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
* Ability to teach A level may be introduced to timetable over time
* Create and implement lesson plans in line with the AQA examination specification
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback on assessments
* Marking and assessment responsibilities included
* Support and guide students to achieve their academic goals in GCSE English
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or FE equivalent qualification
* Degree in English or related field
* Proven experience teaching English to at least Key Stage 3 with prior experience teaching at a Secondary School (minimum of 1 year)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to inspire and motivate students in this core subject
