What to Expect
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a new customer site based in Aylesford, Kent.
The Role
The Maintenance Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring Planned Preventative Maintenance is completed in line with the Computerised Maintenance System.
2. Ensuring all information is captured on the Computerised Maintenance System, including booking spares, time, and machine and fault information.
3. Servicing, repairing, and fault diagnosis of all equipment.
4. Identifying future projects and enhancements to improve throughput and capacity and reduce downtime.
5. Identifying spares and replacement machine parts to ensure limited downtime.
6. Implementing agreed improvements.
7. Maintaining a good level of housekeeping in all automated areas.
8. Adhering to all health and safety requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
The successful Maintenance Engineer will have:
* ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification.
* Proficient experience in engineering and maintenance.
* Effective time management skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Good customer relations.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
