Electrician – Social Housing Responsive RepairsCoventry & Birmingham Salary: £38,500 + bonuses + call‑out
Your new company A strong opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join a busy social housing maintenance team, carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance in occupied properties across Coventry and Birmingham.Your new role You’ll be responsible for day‑to‑day electrical repairs, fault finding, and remedial works within occupied social housing. A professional, customer‑focused approach is essential due to the tenant‑facing nature of the role.Key responsibilities include:
* Responsive electrical repairs in occupied homes
* Fault finding and remedial works
* Ensuring all work meets current regulations
* Participation in a 1‑in‑4 call‑out rota
What you'll need to succeed
* 18th Edition
* Level 3 Electrical Qualification
* AM2
* 2391 Inspection & Testing (beneficial)
* Basic DBS (or willingness to obtain)
* Full UK driving licence
What you'll get in return
* Base salary: £38,500 per year
* Call‑out rota: 1 in 4 weeks
o £100 standby payment
o £50 per job attended
* Bonus scheme based on weekly job completions (outside call‑outs)
* Van and fuel card provided
* 39‑hour week:
o Mon–Thu: 8:00–16:30
o Fri: 8:00–15:30
