Management Accountant
Our client is seeking a talented Management Accountant to support its continued growth across a dynamic, multi‑site environment. Key Responsibilities
Management Accounts & Reporting
* Prepare accurate monthly management accounts for multiple sites
* Deliver clear variance analysis with insight into occupancy, revenue, costs, and profitability
* Support month‑end processes including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
* Maintain strong financial integrity and alignment with Group reporting standards
Budgeting & Forecasting
* Support annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts across all divisions
* Work closely with General Managers and Operations to understand revenue drivers and cost pressures
* Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis for pricing, new site openings, and investment decisions
Commercial & Operational Analysis
* Analyse revenue, occupancy, margins, and KPIs to identify performance opportunities
* Support commercial teams with pricing, renewals, and profitability analysis
* Provide actionable insight to drive efficiency, cost control, and service excellence
Business Partnering
* Build strong relationships with Operations, Sales, Client Experience, and Senior Leadership
* Present financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders
* Support the Finance Director with strategic initiatives, investment appraisals, and performance improvement projects
Controls, Compliance & Process Improvement
* Ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
* Support continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting
* Contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives using technology
* Promote a culture of financial discipline and operational accountability
Skills & Experience
Essential
* Bright part‑qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA preferred; CIMA considered)
* Strong experience in management accounting, financial analysis, and reporting
* Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills
* Ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights clearly
* High attention to detail with a proactive, problem‑solving approach
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment
* Commercial mindset with the ability to identify revenue opportunities
Desirable
* Experience with ERP/finance systems (NetSuite, Dynamics, Xero)
* Exposure to budgeting and forecasting in multi‑entity or multi‑location businesses
