Within Warwickshire County Council, the Employability and Skills Team commissions services and provides a number of support services, primarily supporting businesses, gathering economic needs, whilst also supporting in the creation of career opportunities linking to employment, education and skills partners.
The team engage widely with a number of external partners and stakeholders who we collaborate with to widen our reach.
About the Role
Contract and Project Monitoring Officer
The Contract and Project Monitoring Officer will play a crucial role in supporting Warwickshire County Council to increase and further develop the Warwickshire Adult Skills Fund programmes.
The role of Contract and Project Monitoring Officer will lead on funding compliance and contractual adherence for the Adult Skills Fund and support the monitoring of outputs, outcomes and the impact evaluation of the programmes.
The role is a high impacting one which makes a measurable difference to those it supports, we therefore invite candidates with a good level of experience, local knowledge of the skills offer, and highly motived to support the skills delivery.
Key Requirements
Our ideal candidate will have experience in contract monitoring or project management, ideally with a skills focus and an understanding of Funding rules and learner record systems. The candidate must have a broad understanding of local and national skills initiatives, with previous experience of monitoring grant funded programmes that address local skills need. It is essential to have a good track record of delivering outputs.
