£23,557 per annum pro rata
Are you calm under pressure, confident working alone, and committed to supporting vulnerable people? We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Night Porter to join our dedicated team at Bridge Street supported living service in Shepshed.
Hours: Night shifts – 21:15 to 07:45
Your responsibilities will include:
 * Ensuring the safety and security of the building and residents throughout the night
 * Conducting regular checks (e.g. fire alarms, emergency lighting, extinguishers)
 * Monitoring CCTV and reporting faults or incidents
 * Logging and reporting repairs, complaints, risks, and anti-social behaviour
 * Responding to emergencies and following procedures appropriately
 * Maintaining accurate handover notes and communicating effectively with colleagues
 * Promoting a safe, clean, and healthy environment for all
We’re looking for someone who:
 * Has experience working with vulnerable groups and understands professional boundaries
 * Is confident working alone and using their own initiative
 * Communicates clearly and listens actively
 * Can remain calm and diffuse challenging situations effectively
You’ll be supported by the Project Manager and wider team, with access to ongoing training and development.
