Your duties and responsibilities as a Pensions Analyst include:
* Writing actuarial and pensions reports related to divorce, personal injury, and employment tribunal settlements.
* Developing mathematical models for actuarial valuation and other calculations using spreadsheets.
* Analyzing client files to determine necessary information for accurate report preparation.
* Collecting and analyzing data in coordination with insurance companies, pension schemes, and solicitors.
* Providing business support for managing small business tasks.
* Maintaining a professional attitude and ensuring high-quality work to meet client expectations.
* Communicating effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
* Upholding confidentiality and data protection standards.
* Working independently to set goals, meet targets, and adhere to deadlines.
* Collaborating as a key team member to achieve business objectives.
* Self-assessing performance and seeking feedback for continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
* A degree in Mathematics or Actuarial Science (2:1 or higher), or a strong degree in a Science, Engineering, or Financial subject with significant mathematical content.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A professional attitude and strong team spirit.
* Analytical thinking and mathematical problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word.
* Self-motivated, able to work independently, and committed to meeting targets.
* Right to work in the UK.
