Overview
The Assistant Headteacher will support the headteacher in strategic leadership, day-to-day management of Quality of Education, formulating aims and objectives, establishing policies, and managing staff and resources to achieve these aims. The role includes a timetabled teaching commitment of 50%, complying with the Teachers' Standards and modelling best practice. Duties delegated from the Headteacher may also be required. Essential: QTS.
Responsibilities
* Support the headteacher in communicating the school's vision and supporting strategic leadership.
* Lead the day-to-day management of the Quality of Education within the school.
* Formulate the aims and objectives of the school and establish policies to achieve them.
* Manage staff and resources to meet the school’s aims and monitor progress toward them.
* Maintain a timetabled teaching commitment of 50% and model best practice in line with the Teachers\' Standards.
* Undertake duties delegated from the Headteacher as required.

Robins Way School is a brand-new SEN school for pupils with complex needs, including SEMH. It is a co-educational provision with entry from 5–11 years old, located in Amesbury, Wiltshire.
