About the Role
At YMCA Childcare Providence, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Room Leader to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver quality care and education, ensuring a positive start for children and leading a team to maintain an Outstanding provision.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide high-quality childcare and education in line with EYFS standards.
2. Lead and motivate a team of staff and volunteers.
3. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
4. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
5. Engage with children and families to support their needs.
Candidate Requirements
* Relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
* Minimum of two years post-qualification experience.
* Strong knowledge of EYFS.
* Experience in managing staff and volunteers.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Motivated to deliver high standards of childcare.
Working Hours and Salary
38 hours per week, shifts between 7.45am - 6.15pm over 4 days.
Salary: £25,668.24 plus a £500 sign-on bonus.
