The main purpose of this post is to contribute towards and support the delivery of a compliant, effective, customer focussed, and sustainable procurement and corporate service delivery across the Association, delivering high quality services and value for money.
The Procurement and Corporate Services Officer will support procurement delivery across the Group, assist budget holders with managing their relationships with suppliers and contractual performance, and ensure that opportunities for continuous improvement are explored and implemented.
The post-holder will work with departmental budget holders to develop their procurement requirements ensuring value for money for our customers and the communities we support. The role will research viable routes to market, assist budget holders with pre-market engagement, support the drafting of tender documentation and the running of compliant procurement exercises. The post-holder will promote a strong procurement compliance culture in respect of Clyde Valley Groups role as a Registered Social Landlord as prescribed in the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014.
The post will also be responsible for the delivery of a high quality, effective and consistent corporate service to Clyde Valley Group both internally and externally. This will include key tasks that support our governance, GDPR and FOI compliance, performance management reporting and support to the Corporate Team around office health and safety, staff communication and wider communication to customers through our website, social media and other digital channels.
