Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Connection Designer to join their engineerging department on a remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled designer who to help deliver large scale steel structures. Role Responsibilities * Produce safe, efficient, and compliant structural steel connection designs to Eurocodes/BS standards. * Prepare detailed calculations, sketches, and design reports for approval. * Collaborate with structural engineers, detailers, and fabrication teams to resolve technical queries. * Review engineering drawings, specifications, and 3D models to determine connection requirements. * Provide technical input during tender, design, and construction phases. * Ensure all designs meet safety, quality, and fabrication requirements. * Support value engineering and buildability improvements. * Work independently while maintaining clear communication with the wider project team.
