Responsibilities
Your Role At Asda: You are responsible for overseeing and managing the entire operation. You will manage a team of optometrists and optical assistants, oversee compliance processes and procedures, review sales forecasting and department targets, and deal with customer queries. Daily responsibilities include clinic management and ensuring the department is well equipped for customer needs. Working in close partnership with an Optometrist, you coach and develop the team.
Qualifications & Requirements
* A fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC
* On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD
* Confident in coaching others
* Proven leadership skills in a fast‑paced Optics environment
* Organised and able to manage time effectively
* Driven and ambitious to ensure the department meets its targets
