IP Associate – London Our client is a well-established national law firm with a strong reputation for delivering commercially focused legal advice to a diverse client base, from start-ups to international brands. It is now looking to recruit an experienced Intellectual Property Lawyer to join its London team. This is a broad role offering a mix of contentious and non-contentious IP work within a full-service practice, covering the full lifecycle of IP rights including protection, portfolio management, commercialisation and enforcement. You will work closely with senior leadership as part of a highly regarded national IP team. Key Responsibilities Advise on the full lifecycle of IP rights, including protection, registration, portfolio management and enforcement Manage trade mark and design strategy, including clearance, prosecution and monitoring Handle matters before the UKIPO, EUIPO and WIPO Advise on brand protection, copyright, database rights, confidential information and trade secrets Support contentious IP matters, including disputes and enforcement proceedings Deliver clear, commercially focused advice to a varied client base Contribute to business development and support junior colleagues where required Requirements Qualified Lawyer with 5-10 years' PQE in Intellectual Property Strong experience in trade mark and design strategy, clearance, prosecution and portfolio management Experience advising on IP protection and enforcement across a range of rights Familiarity with UKIPO, EUIPO and WIPO procedures Excellent drafting, communication and client management skills Commercially minded, collaborative and keen to be part of a national IP team based in London INDCATS
