We're looking for a Commercial Director who is ready to lead. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a board member and a central part of our Senior Management Team.
This role is about driving results. You'll be responsible for our entire commercial lifecycle, from strategy to execution, with a clear focus on meeting growth, efficiency, and profitability goals.
You will:
* Lead the development of our B2B and B2C sales and marketing strategies.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities.
* Maximise revenue by building strong client and partner relationships.
* Use market insights to deliver successful commercial initiatives.
* Manage commercial risk for new products and ventures.
The role will be based at our Norwich office but there will be a requirement to travel regularly.

Key Responsibilities
Your role will be central to our commercial success. You will be responsible for:
Business Strategy & Execution
* Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, focusing on market penetration and growth.
* Preparing and leading the sales and marketing strategy, including pricing, product placement, and promotions.
* Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of sales initiatives against key milestones.
* Providing accurate sales forecasts and marketing evaluations across all channels.
Marketing & Commercial
* Developing and implementing marketing plans and sales performance strategies that align with business goals across channels like:
* Specialist & Car Finance Brokers
* Aggregators & Affiliates
* Digital Marketing (PPC, SEO, SMS)
* Other Direct Marketing
* Creating innovative business models and marketing approaches to secure new business.
* Leading the development of value-creating propositions to win new partnerships.
* Collaborating with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of all initiatives.
* Maintaining strong B2B relationships and building a powerful brand presence.
* Conducting ongoing market and competitor analysis to maintain a competitive edge.
* Assessing and managing the commercial risk of new opportunities.
Risk & Financial Management
* Managing the marketing budget and advertising costs.
* Producing and delivering short-term budgets and medium-term strategic plans.
* Evaluating the effectiveness of current sales and marketing plans against business forecasts.
* Ensuring all partnerships and products are commercially viable.
* Adhering to all relevant commercial, professional, regulatory, and legal best practices.

Pay: £55,000.00-£95,000.00 per year
