Your background as a Programme Manager:
You are likely to have worked within a Programme Manager, Senior Project Manager, Programme Management or Senior Project Management focussed role within an engineering, technical consulting or technical R&D environment.
Specific experience within the automotive, vehicle engineering, or defence / military industry sectors would be advantagous.
We are looking for a candidate that is passionate about programme management / project management, has a desire to lead a diverse range of projects and thrives on delivering an exceptional level of customer satisfaction.
You are likely to be degree qualified in a mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, electrical / electronic engineering, or a similar engineering discipline.
Programme Manager responsibilities:
This is not your everyday Programme Manager role. The role will be a mix of leading multimillion pound complex engineering projects and customer management / developing best practice e.g. spot opportunities for commercial development, customer satisfaction, enhancing bid quality, revenue forecasting.
Ensure successful delivery of programmes / projects and a consistent high quality customer experience.
Serve as the primary customer contact and point of escalation for projects.
Work closely with the commercial team to support the development of customer accounts to deliver high-quality proposal and profitable sales growth.
Some leadership, coaching and mentoring of junior team members to maximise their potential.
This Programme Manager job is commutable from Coventry, Leicester, Rugby, Tamworth, Northampton, Birmingham, Solihull, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Nuneaton, Hinckley, and surrounding areas.
