Domestic Violence Assist is a specialist charity supporting victims of domestic abuse throughurgent legal interventions, including Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders. Our work is fast-paced, outcome-focused, and centered on securing immediate protection for clients.
Responsibilities
* Handle incoming calls from individuals experiencing domestic abuse
* Assess eligibilityfor Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders
* Gather clear and relevant information to progress cases
* Request and managesupporting documents for legal aid applications
* Maintain accurate and up-to-dateCRM records
* Liaise with solicitors, courts, and relevant agencies where required
* Ensure all cases are progressed efficiently and within required timeframes
* Work in line with safeguarding procedures and organisational protocols
About You
* Experience in a casework, legal support, or high-volume administrative role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in written work
* Ability to manage workload effectively and meet strict deadlines
* Ability to communicate confidently and manage challenging conversations with a calm and measured approach
* Strong sense of responsibility, discretion, and professional boundaries
* Proven experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
* Understanding of domestic abuse and relevant legal processes is desirable
* IT Skills: Utilise Outlook, Word and Dropbox to manage communications and documentation effectively. xsngvjr
