Overview
Vacancy has arisen for a Clinical Support worker/ Phlebotomist within Forth Valley Community Nursing Services. Changes within Primary Care have lead to the opportunity for a Clinical support worker to join the care and treatment service. The post will work closely with General Practice and Community Nursing teams.
Responsibilities
* Good communication skills, flexible and adaptable, able to work well within a team while using your own initiative.
* Carry out delegated work on a daily basis that will include phlebotomy and chronic disease monitoring among other things.
* Good IT skills are desirable. Training will however be provided and NHS Forth Valley is supportive of lifelong learning and development.
* Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery.
Qualifications
* Member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is required.
* Kept keen to learn and develop new skills.
