Responsibilities
* Analyse information critically to create accurate and concise reports.
* Interpret clinical information and evidence.
* Maintain professional standards in written communication and adherence to code of conduct.
* Provide positive experiences for claimants and colleagues, meeting quality and productivity targets.
* Conduct consultations with claimants via telephone, video, or face-to-face appointments to understand how a claimant's disability, condition, or illness affects daily activities, in a respectful, fair, and reassuring manner.
* Carry out detailed assessments and write fair and accurate reports for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) claims as part of the DWP HAAS team.
Requirements
* A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional (Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Paramedics).
* An ability to demonstrate a broad clinical knowledge.
* Experience using computer software including Microsoft Office.
Professional qualifications by profession
* Nurses
o Qualified Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD only)
o Member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN)
* Physios/OTs
o Qualified Chartered Physiotherapist or Qualified Occupational Therapist
o Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
o Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) or College of OTs (COT)
* Paramedics
o BSc or Qualified Paramedic
o Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
