The Role
We’re seeking an experienced and high-performing Sales Director to lead our sales function and drive scalable revenue growth. In this strategic leadership role, you’ll define our go-to-market approach, build and manage a high-impact sales team, and close key enterprise deals. You’ll work closely with marketing, product, and customer success to align efforts across the commercial lifecycle and accelerate our growth across the UK, Europe, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and own the sales strategy across target verticals (legal, corporate, financial services) and geographies.
Lead, grow, and manage the sales team — including setting targets, coaching, and performance management.
Drive pipeline generation through both outbound and inbound strategies, in partnership with marketing.
Personally lead high-value enterprise sales opportunities and build relationships with senior decision-makers (GCs, CIOs, Heads of Innovation, Legal Ops leaders, etc.)
Forecast revenue and track KPIs using CRM systems and sales dashboards (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce).
Refine and optimise the sales process to shorten cycles, increase conversion rates, and improve scalability.
Collaborate with product and leadership teams to ensure feedback from prospects informs our roadmap and positioning.
Represent us at key industry events, conferences, and roundtables.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in a senior B2B SaaS sales leadership role, ideally within legal tech.
Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding £1M+ ARR targets.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for coaching and mentoring sales talent.
Experience selling into legal, compliance, procurement, or operations functions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment — adaptable, hands-on, and commercially creative.
Nice to Have
Background or network within the legal or professional services sector.
Familiarity with legal operations and innovation teams in law firms or corporates.
Experience expanding sales internationally (especially into the US or APAC markets)
