We're recruiting Support Workers to join our supported accommodation services for young people aged 16–25. This is a flexible role — you choose the shifts that work for you.
Please note: We only offer block shifts (e.g. full days, multiple consecutive days, or day + sleep-in combinations). We do not offer ad-hoc hourly cover.
What You'll Do
* Provide high-quality, person-centred support in a safe and nurturing environment.
* Support young people with complex behaviours, including anxiety, emotional distress, and trauma histories.
* Build positive, trusting relationships and promote emotional wellbeing.
* Encourage independence through practical life skills support (e.g. budgeting, cooking, job readiness).
* Contribute to risk assessments and care/support planning.
* Advocate for young people and liaise with professionals and agencies.
* Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* No personal care is required.

Block Shift Patterns Available
This is a casual contract with variable hours. All work is offered as block shifts, including:
* Day blocks (morning, afternoon, evening)
* Weekend blocks
* Sleep-in blocks (£52 per sleep-in)
* Floating support blocks (up to 24 hrs cover)
Example block packages:
* 91 hrs per week + 7 sleeps
* 39 hrs + 3 sleeps
You can pick up the blocks that suit your availability.

About You
We're looking for people who are:
* Compassionate, patient, and resilient
* Experienced in care, youth work, or supported housing
* Able to stay calm under pressure
* Good listeners and clear communicators
* Motivated to help young people build independence and self-confidence
* Willing to work flexibly across block shifts (days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins)
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £13.95 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 91 per week
