GSL Education Hull are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Support Assistant to work within supportive school and alternative provision across Hull. The Role as a Support Assistant: As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will: Support students with SEMH, behavioural needs, and additional learning difficulties. Build positive relationships with pupils to promote engagement and emotional regulation. Provide 1:1 and small group interventions. Assist teachers in managing classroom behaviour effectively. Implement behaviour support strategies and restorative approaches. Encourage student participation, independence, and social development. Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment. The Ideal Behaviour Support Assistant Will Have: Previous experience working with children or young people with behavioural or additional needs. A calm, patient, and resilient approach. Strong communication and behaviour management skills. Experience within schools, PRUs, care settings, youth work, coaching, or support work is desirable.
