Are you passionate about cloud automation, monitoring, and improving operational excellence across hybrid environments? If yes, then let’s get to the important stuff! The Role: As a CloudOps Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation, optimisation, and automation of customer Azure platforms. Working as part of TIEVA’s CloudOps practice, you’ll ensure environments remain secure, compliant, and cost-efficient by managing performance, backup, monitoring, and governance. You’ll collaborate with Service Desk, Proactive, and Security teams to deliver an exceptional managed service—proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact customers. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives on improving platforms through automation, scripting, and best practice configuration. Manage backup and disaster recovery posture using Azure Backup and ASR. Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Logic Apps. Apply governance and compliance frameworks (RBAC, tagging, policy, CAF/WAF). Optimise cost and performance through Azure Advisor and Cost Management. Document environments, runbooks, and processes for consistent delivery. Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and automation standards. Maintain a strong focus on security, availability, and customer satisfaction. The Candidate: You’ll be a confident, proactive engineer with a strong foundation in Azure operations, automation, and hybrid infrastructure management. You’ll enjoy problem-solving, working collaboratively, and continuously improving both customer environments and your own technical skills. Experience: 2 years in a Cloud, Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering role. Experience managing production Azure environments and hybrid connectivity. Strong understanding of Windows and/or Linux server environments. Experience implementing monitoring, automation, and backup solutions. Familiar with Azure governance, compliance, and cost optimisation practices. Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in PowerShell and Azure CLI. Strong troubleshooting across compute, network, and storage. Understanding of Azure Policy, RBAC, and secure configuration principles. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Strong collaboration and time-management capabilities. Qualifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104). Attributes: Positive, can-do attitude with strong attention to detail. Self-motivated, proactive, and curious about emerging cloud technologies. Strong sense of accountability, ownership, and integrity. Team-oriented, collaborative, and open to feedback. Committed to continuous improvement and professional growth.
