Responsibilities
* Provide end-to-end technical support for EFI customers in the assigned region.
* Perform onsite installations, system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
* Support trade shows and customer demonstrations, including printer setup, calibration, operation, and breakdown.
* Deliver end‑user operator training and ensure customers are confident in product use.
* Collaborate with our global R&D and technical teams, providing feedback on field performance and customer experience.
* Maintain EFI standards and act as a professional ambassador for the brand at all times.
* Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the region, often at short notice (approx. 20% overnight stays).
Qualifications
* Technical qualification or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, digital, or electronic technology.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a field engineering role servicing complex electro‑mechanical equipment.
* Strong customer management and communication skills, with a commitment to excellent service delivery.
* Solid understanding of inkjet printing technology, RIP and colour theory, and materials/chemicals used in digital printing.
* Confident using and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
* Self‑motivated and able to independently manage a large service territory, including EFI assets (parts, tools, information).
* Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, including use of precision alignment tools and tolerances of 0.001".
* Fluent English required (written and spoken).
