Shift Leader – Mental Health & Learning Disabilities

Shift: 07:45 – 20:00
Join a specialist residential service supporting adults with severe and enduring mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and cognitive impairments. This is a key leadership role within a structured and supportive team environment.
The Role
You will lead each shift, coordinate staff, oversee medication administration and ensure person-centred care is delivered in line with individual support plans and risk assessments. You will help maintain a safe, structured environment where residents are supported to build independence, develop life skills and improve wellbeing.
You will work closely with the management team to maintain high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance, while supporting the development of Support Workers on shift.
Requirements
* Experience working in a Senior Support Worker or Shift Leader role within mental health, learning disabilities or complex care
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Calm, organised approach to managing challenging situations
* Understanding of safeguarding, risk management and person-centred practice
* Full manual driving licence and access to own transport (essential)
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to complete)
* Right to work in the UK (s p o n s o r s h i p not available)
