Opportunity has arisen for Healthcare Assistants on the Acute Frailty Unit.
AFU is a busy acute medical ward that specializes in frailty care the ward also has a purpose built Dementia Garden.
We are looking for Healthcare Assistants who can work in a busy environment, who possess excellent communication skills, can maintain a high degree of confidentiality is enthusiastic and has a passion for frailty care.
Our patients need care 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, so youll need to have flexibility to workday, weekend and night shifts. In return, youll benefit from flexible working patterns and unsocial hours payments and the opportunity to experience working within a friendly supportive team.

Main duties of the job
Duties include providing a high standard of care by providing personal hygiene care, maintaining patient tissue integrity and providing pressure area care, recording of observations, assisting with feeding requirements, documentation overseen by a registered nurse, assisting with mobility needs, communication to patients / relatives / carers and working within the team to support your colleagues in providing a positive experience for the patient.

* Basic standard of education including Maths and English.
* Experience of working in a patient care setting or customer facing environment.
