We are looking for a PA to the Director/Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be successful in expertly managing calendars, appointments and running the day to day tasks of a busy office environment. You will provide ongoing assistance and support to the Managing Director. PX Farms is an agricultural business based in Dry Drayton, Cambridge, and manages 12,000 acres of land in Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Lincolnshire. Alongside farming we operate a fleet of 12 HGV lorries, grain storage, property portfolio and more recently a Media department with our own YouTube channel.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and maintain the Directors diary, appointments and events
· Producing letters prepared or dictated by the Director as required
· Provide assistance and support to the Director
· Manage the security gates on the farm, updating phone numbers as required
· Grainstore stock and activity reporting
· Grainstore contracts
· Management of Grainstore software
· Update of crop recording software
· Assist with visitors & staff coming to the Estate Office and resolve their queries or direct them to the relevant person
· Answer the Estate Office telephone and gate buzzers
· Provide assistance to the Management team when required
· To undertake other such duties as directed by the Director to fulfil the needs of PX Farms Ltd
Skills Required:
* Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
· Extensive experience in prioritising, organising work activities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within set deadlines and timelines
· Self-motivated and detail oriented
· Good organisational skills
· Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
